Welcome to the Registration page for the Stratford Referees Association

All officials are required to apply to the Stratford Referees Association each season before any games may be assigned to them. Applications will be accepted between July 1 and October 31 each season.

Application is through the completion of one of three available registration forms. A brief description of each of the forms follows to help you select which form to use:

1. Returning Officials that have met the requirements of the MHAO, OMHA or OWHA to obtain a referee card and refereed with the Stratford Referees Association in the previous season. Most applicants will fall into this category.

2. New Officials are officials that have met the requirements of the MHAO, OMHA or OWHA to obtain a referee card but did not referee with the Stratford Referees Association in the 2020-2021 season. Registration may not be submitted until a new officials clinic has been completed with MHAO, OMHA or OWHA.

3. Crossover officials are Senior officials that have met the requirements of the MHAO, OMHA or OWHA to obtain a referee card but do not wish to become a full member of the SRA. A Crossover member will not be required to pay a membership fee but also will not be offered regular assignments with the SRA. The purpose of the crossover membership is to allow officials from outside the SRA to become affiliated with the SRA in order to fill assignments in tournaments or at arenas not within the SRA core centres. A crossover member does not have full membership privileges and is not entitled to participation at SRA meetings.
